HOUSE of BEL is an upcoming comic book project by BELIAL exploring the blurred boundaries between heroism and villainy, identity and illusion, power and manipulation. Through dark storytelling, sharp satire and a world of carefully constructed personas, the series challenges the narratives people create, the roles others impose on them and the systems that thrive on keeping everyone in their assigned place.

Beneath every mask lies a question of identity. Behind every title, institution and carefully written story, there may be something far less admirable than it appears. And when the people behind the masks begin to see through the performance, the balance of power starts to change.

Inspired by themes of defiance, artistic freedom, accountability and the refusal to be defined by someone else’s expectations, HOUSE of BEL invites readers into a world where the line between hero and villain is never quite as simple as it seems.

The story doesn’t need another hero. It needs someone willing to rewrite the script.

But behind every mask lies another truth. A golden hero imprisoned by his own goodness, a villain hiding behind an elaborate alter ego, and an observer who refuses to play either role.

The first chapter challenges the manufactured boundaries between heroism and villainy, exploring identity, manipulation and the freedom to reject a narrative written by someone else.

Not the hero. Not the villain. The one who walks away.

Behind every hero, villain and carefully manufactured identity lies a person hiding beneath the mask.

The second chapter explores the systems that shape, label and manipulate identities, turning people into characters trapped by expectations and carefully constructed images.

As the masks begin to crack, the truth emerges: real power isn’t found in titles, appearances or manufactured personas, but in knowing who you are when nobody is watching.

CHAPTER 3: STUPID PRIZES

They were warned. They were given every opportunity to stop, listen and walk away, but they chose to ignore the signs.

The third chapter marks the moment when consequences finally arrive. After repeated attempts to save what remained beneath the masks, manipulation and manufactured identities, the rescuer reaches a breaking point. Some people cannot be saved when they keep choosing the same cage.

Expanding beyond personal manipulation, the story confronts institutions that abuse power, exploit loyalty and demand obedience. Every title, badge, contract and hierarchy becomes another mask—and every empire eventually faces the moment when nobody believes its script anymore.

This is not revenge. It’s accountability. The warnings were given. The cord is cut. The bill has arrived.
